Financial assistance outside a centre
Request the correct form of support and plan private housing costs before moving.
Request assistance formally
UdSC may grant money for independently covering living costs instead of centre accommodation under the applicable conditions. Submit the appropriate request through an accepted official channel, identify your protection case and household, and explain the circumstances. A private rental agreement or leaving a centre does not automatically grant the benefit. Confirm the decision and effective date.
Check the household amount
Read the current official rates and your decision carefully: the amount per person depends on household size. Distinguish a daily rate, a monthly amount per person and the total for the family. Compare assistance with rent, deposit, utilities, food and transport before signing. Do not assume UdSC will reimburse your actual rent or cover every cost.
Confirm payment arrangements
Provide an accurate address and ask how and when payment is made and what identification is needed for collection. Do not presume a bank transfer is available merely because you have an account. If payment is missing, request clarification or re-delivery through the official procedure; keep the request, receipt and current delivery details.
Keep other services coordinated
Confirm access to reception healthcare, school materials and Polish classes while living outside the centre. This form of assistance does not turn into every allowance available to centre residents. Report household, address and other relevant changes and monitor correspondence. An assistance decision does not grant a new residence status or cancel obligations in the protection procedure.
