ZUS: eZUS, applications and decisions
Use the right electronic form, keep submission proof and check the specific appeal route.
Confirm that ZUS is responsible
ZUS handles social-insurance matters and specified benefits, including selected family programmes. Municipal family allowance and local social assistance have different authorities. Identify the benefit, relevant period and your applicant role before gathering documents. An insurance contribution record or one benefit award does not by itself prove entitlement to every other payment.
Create and use your eZUS account
Open the official ZUS website and complete the identity verification required for eZUS. Choose the appropriate form and role, check personal and bank details and provide the requested attachments. Saving a draft is not submission: complete signing and sending, then keep the official acknowledgement. Do not give another person your login or electronic-signature credentials.
Follow messages and ask for help
Monitor the eZUS inbox and actual delivery of requests or decisions rather than relying only on notification messages. Supply missing evidence and report relevant changes. An appointment or e-visit can help clarify the case, but cannot replace every formal application or change every account detail. Prepare identification and the required authorisation if representing someone else.
Read the decision before challenging it
Check the decision type, reasons, delivery date and remedy instructions. ZUS matters do not all use the same appeal authority or deadline: family benefits and social-insurance decisions can follow different routes. A complaint about staff or a general enquiry does not substitute for the prescribed challenge. Obtain advice before the actual deadline if the route is unclear.
